The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle

When I first began to think of this story I was working on my book, THE MAN WHO WAS POE. In fact there is a point in CD when I make reference to the Seahawk, the ship Charlotte sails on. It marks the point when I first began to think of the new book. But when I began the book I thought I would write a mystery. In fact the working title for the book was The Seahawk. But as I worked on the story I came to care more and more about Charlotte--and who she was--so that it became her book. Mystery there is, but Charlotte is at the center of the book. (There are three points of reference in CHARLOTTE DOYLE to THE MAN WHO IS POE. Can you find them?)
